Amerind was the first company to manufacture bulk AN/FO trucks. AN/FO trucks are the simplest trucks of all the different kinds of bulk trucks. AN/FO trucks mix ammonium nitrate and fuel oil (AN/FO). The original trucks were fabricated with a hammer mill system to crush the AN since only agricultural grade Ammonium Nitrate was available. Hammer mills can still be an option if an HD AN/FO is required. Amerind AN/FO trucks come in a variety of sizes and configurations. Capacities vary from 4 tons to 24 tons. Discharge systems can be made with an overhead auger, side auger, or pneumatic discharge.
